Did anyone say gin?

It can be tricky to find the perfect gift for mums on Mother’s Day, especially if it’s down to you to do the purchasing. Do you go for food, drink, experiences or evenings out?

Well, Towcester Mill Brewery may have just the answer with its weekend of gin tastings!

“There’s no doubt that gin is experiencing its own revolution at the moment,” says Caroline Hares, Towcester Mill Brewery’s shop manager. “The fact that we sell numerous different brands in our shop and 28 different gins in the Brewery’s tap room is testament to that! So, to help our customers decide what their mum might like, or indeed if the mums want to try them out first before they drop any hints, then we’ve got a fab weekend lined up.”

On Saturday 24 February the Brewery Shop at Bell Plantation Garden Centre was host to a number of fruity gins from The Fruity Farmer, based at Stoke Goldington. And on this Saturday, 3 March, Keepr’s Gin will be at the shop between 11am-3pm with their selection of honey gins and new flavoured vodka to try out.

“We’ve got a range of beautiful gin goblets too if you wanted to make up a bespoke hamper,” added Caroline. “With 5cl miniatures or 20cl bottles there’s plenty of choice, but we’re happy to help you work out which gin is best for the special lady in your life. It’ll definitely be fun trying!”

For more information, check out the Towcester Mill Brewery Facebook page – all events are listed there. The shop is currently open Tuesday-Sunday. For any enquiries please contact the shop directly on 01327 437560 or email shop@towcestermillbrewery.co.uk.
